Collaborative Law

This new and innovative US and British method of solving law disputes has 1 rule only:

All parties sign a contract saying you will not litigate in a Court – if the process breaks down and you decide to do so, all parties must obtain new lawyers.

Barbara is a qualified Collaborative Lawyer.   However many other lawyers and those trained in the collaborative method are using settlement conferences to progress a matter to conclusion without the need for lengthy expensive litgation.

Parties who are relatively amicable and focussed on settling their matters meet together with their lawyers in 4-way meetings where they discuss, negotiate and settle their matter.

This method of legal work is suitable for many areas of law – Probate disputes, Commercial Law disputes, Family and Domestic Law disputes.
